Sams and Costco Microfiber

Sam's ProForce without a doubt. The Costco ones are ok at first but after a few washes they lose their plushness and start to scratch. Best bang for the $ is still the mother's towels.

I have both the Sam's and Costco towels, and I'm not a fan of the Costco ones at all. As for the ProForce ones from Sam's, they're what I use almost exclusively.

Don't forget Target's orange MF towels. Reasonably priced and they work well. I just bought an 8-pack on sale (around $7, IIRC).

Keeping in mind that I use new ones for final duty meaning finishing polish and sealant removal. After 1 wash (like Dan said) they tend to de-soften and actually start to loose their color. When this happens I use them for compound removal and they then get washed 2-4 more times. And then, they only get used on dirty jobs like door jambs, engines, wheels and interiorsuntil their tossed.
