Sam Walton gone mad !!!

Yes I tried Mark's, and I do remember that they were pretty nice. I have purchased some great MF's over the years from Pakshak, PAC, and Yosteve (one of Autopia's first members). I have also sent back a shipment of $100 worth of MF towels from a company that did a bait and switch on me last year.

I agree with SilverLexus that the blue ones are plusher and do not lint. These yellow ones must be washed prior to using to eliminate linting. That being said at $4.81/16 towels, I wish I bought more !!!

Sam's has switched to a plusher, less-linting 16x16 towel at a lower price which is why these yellow ones were so cheap...closeout pricing!

I was at Sam's last night and they were closer to $9.00 for that pack at my store.
I bought 2 packages of the MF towels at our local sams club, but they were packs of 12 and they were blue. Still a good price for a decent MF.

Last Sunday I also picked up a 12 pack of the blue ones from Sam's. $4.81. I've only used "cheapies" from Target and Wal-Mart before and these are much nicer. Bigger(16x16) and plusher. I did the CD scratch test and they didn't scratch at all like the mf's I've used before do. Just wish they came in a variety of colors.

I love this site! Glad to see I'm not the only one to get excited about buying "rags"! lol

Are these the same ones than "detailing solutions"? I got some of the detailing solutions from a member here and they are big, soft and plush.......

Too bad they don't have the 24x24" towels; I prefer those for buffing off product from paint. If the new blue ones are good, I may just invest in those to use for customer cars.

Yes these are the detailing solution towels.

Can you use these to wash the car? Why can't you use the yellow MFs to wash the paint? If not, what do you use to wash the car?

I used the yellow Sams closeouts being sold in 16count pkg for $4.81 to QEW and wax my car.

They are quality and passed my CD scratch test prior to using on the car.

.30 cent MF is a no brainer. Go ahead and buy the more expensive ones if it makes you sleep better.

Is there a substantial difference in plushness between Sam's close out yellows and their new Blues? My yellows are hit and miss, some are plusher than others.

I picked up 5 packs of the yellow Saturday night at Sam's and they are a great deal. They don't have the blue ones yet at my Sam's. Wes
