Sam Walton gone mad !!!

I picked up these yellow microfibers when they first appeared in the local Sam's Club about 2 months ago. I've been using them on everything including wax removal, cleaning/polishing clear plastic, chrome and mirrors and they haven't scratched any surface yet. Great buy.
 
i just picked up 3 packs myself. got two packs in the washer right now. im saving the third pack for now. thanks for the great heads up Clean Dean.
 
What section of the store are these normally found in? I need some more Woolite and Oxy so I may as well . . .
 
I picked two packs up yesterday and tried them out today. Outstanding Value. I found plenty of uses for them and they do a great job.
 
these are killer towels and awesome prices.
.30 cents a towel .

Glad to see the day of overpriced quality towels are gone.
I know the saying you get what you paid for, bit in this case I find I am hard
pressed to defend high priced MF.

My opinion only....to each his own.
 
This sucks!!! I am at college and there isn't a Sam's Club ANYWHERE near me. I'm gonna have to call my mom tonight and see if she can go to Sam's tomorrow and see if they have them still at that price. I got 2 packs for Christmas and used them a few times to remove wax and they worked just fine for me. I could tell a difference between the ones I bought from PAC and these from Sam's but not enough of a difference not to use the Sam's MF's to remove wax. This reminds me, I need to get a PAC order in before I go home for Spring Break!
 
Does anyone want to let me in on where in the store they keep the towels. I could not find them, nor could either of the two people working there I asked, not that I was surprised by that.
 
At my Sams, they WERE NOT with the Blue MF's or car care products, but instead they were up front by one of the check out lines on a pallet.
 
BTW..just QEW'd my car and then waxed with OCW using these yellow Mf's from Sams and have no negative remarks....get them while they last !!!
I bought 4 packages last night...I will be picking up another 5 tomorrow and store them until needed.
 
Found them this time! I went back this afternoon a second time and found where they were hiding. After picking up some Oxy and Woolite as well I went home and washed two of the eight packages in order to give a quick test. I must say that I am very impressed with these towels at only $0.30 each. No signs of scratching on either the CD test or the finish on my black Schwinn Moab 1. Great find Dean, two thumbs way up.
 
Because of this thread. I made the trek to Sam's..looking for the yellow MF's..instead I found and bought the 18 pack of blue LF's for $9.86. Brought them home and washed with no fragrance..no softeners detergent. Half-dried in the drier, then hung them over a large wooden clothes rack to finish drying. As I was folding them to put away, I decided to do the CD test. Unless I rubbed them really hard, I got no visable scratching. Took a couple out to my black test subject. Applied her second coat of WG sealant..in 34 degree weather...and removed with the Sam's blue MF's. Very pleasantly surprised. They work well. Removed sealant easily, and left no visable micro-marring. ..All for about $.50 each.
I also bought 2 packs of the PLUSH 2 pack MF's at Walmart last Friday...for $3.96. Washed them with the Sam's MF's. Side-by-side, the Walmart ones are a little thicker and are a little softer. These are probably going to be perfect for QD'ing, and the Sam's for wax or sealant removal.
 
better find what u can, because sams wont be carrying these anymore. went over there the other day, and the lady said if the price ends with a 1 (4.81) its a discotinued item.

are the blue ones as good as the yellow ones? All we have are the blue ones. I would be willing to pay someone 20.00 shipped for 3 packs. :dcrules
 
I got 4 packs last weekend but called my mom the other day to send her back to get me another 4 packs or so since I'm back at college without a Sam's nearby. Hopefully she will get over there by the end of the weekend to get some more before they are gone.
 
They have 4 packs of Stoner Invisible Glass for $9.77 at Sam's Club and same price for ArmorAll dual 32 ounce pack. :)
 
Ours Sam's raised the price from $4.81 to $7.81. I picked a pack up at the $4.81 price and went back a week later to get another pack and they raised the price 3 bucks. Strange, maybe it was an original price mistake we all got lucky on. Either way $7.81 is still a great price, the towels are nice IMO.
