Man that is just crazy, I wouldn't know where to start!

I bet that is at LEAST a $10k or $15k detail.

Your not even close.

That is the biggest detailing job I have ever seen.

That looked like a lot of fun. Looked like a lot of pads and polish also.lol

We went through a ton of pads and polish. A tally of what we used will be up soon.

Prestige & Performance

Why? You dont have a phone?

When are you going to do the concord in the background?

Did you get to work with Aaron 3lg, he is in Seattle?

What a great experience!

Cheers,

5 days, 20 guys, 8 hours days (I assume, probably more like 10...). Over 800 man hours. Even if you only charged $25 per man per hour that's 20k. So ya, I'm guessing over $40k.

Hell of a job Joe, you and the rest of the team. Whatever they paid you it was worth it!

what an honor to be offered the opportunity to work on Air Force One... Congrats! The job was well done from the looks of the pic. I am just wondering, how did they contact you? Were you paid your hourly rate, or did everyone recieve the same compensation? Hope that isnt to personal of a question, but I'm just wondering... I can remember as a kid in middle school hearing how any services done for the President or high officals were paid very well. One story in particular about a toilet seat that had been installed within the White House and cost nearly $1000. Now I was in middle school and there was no factual data, but coming from a teacher I am hoping there was truth in that statement so I don't sound stupid here...

Allot of the "details" I will keep private.

The plane is owned by the US government but is under the care and control of the museum. No back ground checks or anything like that was required.

Holy cow, that is a huge freakin plane. Great job on it, the glow is exceptional.

I can't believe it only took you 5 days.....

Great work, it's look beautiful, I wish I could have been a part of that crew...

Nice job, I can't believe this thread is only 3 pages long???

I can respect that you want to keep it to yourself. That is a shock that no background checks had been done... Guess they are not concerned??? I am really surprised.

Amazing work Joe and team!

What pads and polishes were used for the aluminum? I have a race car trailer to do that has a lot of aluminum trim. TIA!

I am not sure. Renny supplied everything and I just rubbed it in.
