Hello Canadians
Just picked up a bunch of waxes, polishes and emergency car stuff on clearance at Zellers. I got 3M, Eagle 1, and some Turtle Wax products on sale (mostly 70% off or so).

Last time Zellers had things in Electronics marked down to $1. I got some 7-in-1 Universal remotes for a $1...But the good stuff was gone, probably workers hid stuff for themselves.

Note: Dont even trust the Yellow Tags. The yellow tags you will find that when you scan them in the price scanner, it is actually WAYYY cheaper!

Here is a list of things I purchased today. Some of the stuff I'm gonna practice with before I use the Meguiars stuff.

- Tire Swipe x2 (foam pad) - .99 cents
- 3M Liquid Wax - $4.54 (yellow tagged and still cheaper)
- 3M Swirl Mark Remover - $3.85
- 3M Gloss Enhancer - you can use this as Quick Detailer + for clay - $2.79
- Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover - $2.10
- 1000W Dual Halogen on Tripod - $12!!

All prices in CAD before taxes. Awesome deal! All are 473ml bottles.

Here is what I bought up here in Canada.

BTW the 3M stuff was re-labeled for some reason, maybe for the retail chain market. Behind the labels they are marked Perfect-It Series etc....

I was thinking of going back and buying more 3M Swirl Mark Remover + 3M Liquid Wax. Can anyone give me input if these two products are any good????

Maybe I will double up on everything....:crazy2:

BTW: Dont mind the yellow tags, they were actually still cheaper on the scanner.

I didn't use the extended rod for the worklight because at the stock height its already high enough.

Those tire applicators are the BEST cheap and work great steve picked some up in lake george nd i love them.
 
Ya the Tire Swipes look like they will save lots of time. I am just getting into detailing so anything I can get to start out cheap will be nice! Hopefully the Tire Swipes will last long and not disintegrate...

Gonna practice once I get some pads and backing plate.

Edit: I knew the 3M stuff was rebranded for the Canadian or retail market. Here is what is behind the outer sticker...Looks way better.

More suprises! I may not even need to purchase Megs #80 Speed Glaze because the 3M Swirl Remover is for black colored vehicles!!

What a surprise. Im going back for more! Hopefully its not all gone.

That hallogen is a great deal! WOW! I might have to go see for myself then!

Ya man go check around your area. Seems like nationwide.

Just follow the yellow clearence banners across the store. Or just walk around. Just scan stuff in, etc. Make sure you have a couple of hours because you will be there for a long time scanning stuff like me. Thankfully where everything was, there was a price scanner very close to the items...

LOL. It was funny because everyone else was waiting to scan some toys, etc....this family even tried scanning a plastic pool...lol the sticker was inside though, hah!
