Sal Zaino's C6 Z06...

1 Clean WS6

Detailing Rottweiler
...is featured in this month's GM High-Tech Magazine!!!

They use his car for a feature on LS7 tuning. His car picked up 15.6 rwhp and 13.5 rwtrq for totals of 479.5rwhp and 456.3rwtrq with the tune.

It's Millenium Yellow...and yes...it is as shiny as the sun!!! :cooleek:

Indeed, Sal's car is beautiful and makes some *serious* power for a stock vehicle.

Lee, I don't see the article online. You should be able to pick up "GM High Tech Performance" at Barnes and Noble, etc.

I wish someone could get a pic from Sal to post. Sounds like an awesome car, and I'm sure his customers would love to see it!

Looks like the one I just did! Probably the same New Jersey dealer too, if I remember right. Apparently they have the best prices in the country on Z06's.

The sign on the window says Kerbeck..

a quick check of google shows its kerbeck chevy in atlantic city, nj. and they claim to be the largest vette dealer.

so probably the same place

Cool! Though, I got my 'vette in GMHTP before Sal did! ;)

Did he have anything done to his car prior to the testing they did? 455hp stock seems pretty stout, seems like they are typically in the 430-440 range. Those cars sure have a lot of bang out of the box, and still with a lot of easy potential!

Sal's Z actually dyno'd ~470 rwhp bone stock at East Coast Superchargers. In the article, it went from 460 something to 480 with no mods beyond tuning (on SLP's dyno).

Why have I always pictured Sal as some crotchety old man that remined me of Albert Einstein in a lab mixing up chemicals? Funny how we picture people we don't know.

Ain't that the truth! Some years ago I had a business contact that I would talk to almost every day on the phone. After a couple years I met him, and he was completely different than I imagined...I never thought of him the same way after. And I also pictured Sal much differently.

Yeah, me too! I talked to him on the phone recently, and I got the impression that he was probably in his late fifties. He looks much different (and younger) than I expected!

Perhaps he crosslinks his skin with ZFX? Hmm...maybe he is about to come out with a line of products to keep your body in "showroom" condition...

Well, if he does, I'll decide if I'm interested in trying them in the near future; first, I'll be trying Z-2 PRO and ZFX for the FIRST TIME - for any Zaino product - (should get here within a week)! I can't wait! :)
