Sal Zaino?

I'm a Zaino fan and with all of the latest releases it prompted me to wonder where all this Zaino stuff came from. I looked on there web site but didn't find any Zaino History. The company is called "Zaino Bros." are there brothers? I've never heard of anyone elses name in Zaino conversations.

Whats Sal's back ground?

How old is Zaino?

Just wondering if anyone knows the History behind the "Z".

Maybe BlkZ28 would know best? :nixweiss

Zaino Brothers were 2 brother who had a paint shop (maybe autobody shop) Sal and his brother.

The name basically stuck around even though Sal is the only Zaino in the business.

Zaino brothers start off few block from where I live. Believe it or not

Sal n Charlie Collision Shop at Stillwell Ave.

Sal has been around the car care and paint industry working with polishes, etc. circa 1977. His knowledge involving the industry started far before that, but that time period is when things got rolling to lead to what we know now.

Ok, i've never talked to sal zaino and searching for things on him or anyone else on the internet is a bit dubious, nevetheless, i found this one blip on him:

"More on Zaino - just got off the phone with Sal Zaino, who makes the above-mentioned products. Verrrry interesting! First, he's not only a chemical guru, but a musician as well - plays rock and jazz guitar. .... He said he developed Z-14 plastic cleaner for the Lexan windows on his race car - and that it takes out "fuzz" and small scratches, etc. and makes the Lexan "invisible." Well. . .

He also manufactures some "add-on" plastic parts for Gibson guitars..."

So assuming true, sal zaino is a guitarist!

ps, i should note that i took out other pieces where he talks about the more traditional zaino products like z5, etc.
