S2000 freshly detailed (56k no way)

This is my dad's S2000 that I "detailed" this past weekend. I use the word detailed very lightly since the car didn't require much work. He keeps it garaged and it never sees rain or snow, so it was pretty much perfect.

Process:

Clay Bar'd

2 layers of NXT Paste

1 layer of Megs #26

Overall it came out great and reflects great. Unfortunately the sun was starting to go down so you can't see the metallic pop the paint gets in direct sunlight.

hhaha yeah he better have "50 grand under that hood" (fast and furious quote) haha. well its still neat. get some sun shots! i bet that paint will shine crazy in the sun

Hey, it's not bad for a 55 year old man. He's planning to turbo it next summer too. He's got more kid left in him than me, and he just retired. Yeah, the Silverstone Metallic paint sparkles so much in the sun it almost resembles a bass boat. I'll try to get some sun shots this evening.

No need to rag on me. I hate Chryslers but I won't rag on someones detail thread of a 300C. To me, the only thing that is important is that the owner likes the car and the way it looks. He loves it and that's what matters IMO. I'm glad to see everybody focusing on the detail and not the car itself.

Lol... my bad... didn't realize it was your dad's car... thought it was a customer. :bolt

No problem, I know most people won't like the look of it, but it's my first official "detail" since joining the boards and from what I've learned here. I was pretty happy with the results. I was trying to showoff the detail not the car.

Yeah it's cool. The detail looks good. I'm really biased against rice because of all the crap on the streets here where I live... but hey at least your's is well taken care of, garaged, polished rice. :xyxthumbs
