Hi everyone :wavey
I am been reading many posts on here and due to this shared knowledge got hooked on detailing cars. I love it. I find great joy spending time cleaning my car and trying new combos. So to cut a long story short I have a few pics of what my detail included.
To start with: I bought this car on 1 July this year. I used to have the same car in Black until last year. although it looked awesome when clean I got tired of keeping it looking great. Nature took its course and I ended having an accident in that one and went for the same car but in Ascari Red instead.
I picked up the car from the dealers and had instructed them not to touch it. When I got it home I washed & clayed using NXT wash and Megs clay. I then applied #81 to the car, after this NXT which was then topped with P21S and a week later with #16.
I was pleased with my end results. It looked wonderful but I wanted to try other products too. I needed something a bit wetter and deeper. RichPug from this forum very kindly posted me some VM however the Royal Mail managed to break the bottle and it leaked out. :angry I had also heard good thing about AIO and SG but wanted to try VM with EX-P topped up. Another very good guy, Alex, who sells all these products here in the UK also obliged and sent me some samples. I am grateful to him for all his help.
I started by applying GEPC, since I didn't have any VM. The results were pretty good. I then applied #81 to half the hood but could not see any difference between the two. I then noticed that I had a few swirls. Since I was doing a long detail I decided it best to remove them. I got out my DA and used #80 to half the hood.
