s100 with finishing pad?

I know you're supposed to use a putty knife to spread the s100 around on the finishing pad and set it on 3, but how much do I put on? Will a little go a long way basically?

I'm sure it will, but...

Applying S100 by hand is pretty simple stuff, and prolly more efficient.

Like my old girl friend, easy on, easy off. I wouldn't try to complicate it.

and was really pleased with the results. I can achieve very thin coat of wax that's uniform >> Easy on, easy off.

The last time I used Natty Wax and took a knife as you mention and schmeared it on the pad...not a huge amount but enough that I had to stop only once to "re-load" the finishing pad. You will know if you have loaded too much or too little wax.

When the car is clean and the paint properly prepped, this is a very rapid way of doing your final coats of wax/sealant.

Try it...see if it makes sense for you.

I did a quikee job on my car last weekend (1/2 car w/P21S, other half w/Pinnacle Paste Glaz) and did that by hand 'cause the PC was put away and I was just looking for a quik freshen up. I would use the PC to apply if it was already out and ready to be used.

Haven't tried it with P21S or Souveran, but I apply/remove paste waxes by machine all the time.

Work the wax into the pad before you start so it's pretty well "saturated" with it. Then squeeze out as much as you can (I use the same tool I used to put it ON the pad). You generally don't need much, but you want to have the pad as evenly "waxed" as possible.
