S100 Total Cycle Cleaner - safe? same as P21S Total Auto Wash?

Is S100 Total Cycle Cleaner really able to clean without rubbing (they claim you just spray it on and rinse it off with a sharp jet of water)? Is it safe to use - it says it finishes squeaky, but doesn't that mean it will strip off any wax/sealant? And is it just relabeled P21S Total Auto Wash (I know a lot of the S100 and P21S stuff are the same)?

Thanks in advance

I use P21S Total Auto Wash to strip waxes, etc. It is quite good in terms of de-con.

(Yes, I suspect they are the same products.)

don't know about this product but did a motorcycle yesterday and the owner had a brand new bottle of the S100 he tried to give me. I declined. price tag was only $12.95 from a motorcycle dealership so I figured it couldn't be anything that special, as stuff at dealers is usually quite a bit inflated. I guess I just believe in the old adage "if it isn't broke don't fix it".

I have used S100 Total Cycle Cleaner for many years for bike wash/detais.

The First thing I do (after the engine is cool) is spray the wheels with TCC.
Yes, I know S100 makes a dedicated wheel cleaner but the TCC works fine.
After it dwells a bit I use a soft wheel brush to clean the wheels and spokes.
All the time not letting TCC dry on the wheels...then rinse it off. It works great!

Is it an orangey citrus cleaner (like P21S total wash)?

I'm not sure about the "orangey citrus cleaner" part but it does a very good job of cleaning the road dirt out of the wheels.

I've been using this process on motorcycles (especially the wheels) for many many years.

I just wonder because I already have a liter of P21S Total Auto Wash on the shelf, so I don't want to buy it to find it's the same stuff.

If it was me...I would think that paint is paint.

I'm not sure if Total Cycle "Cleaner" is the same as Total Auto "Wash". Is that a wash soap?

It's a citrus degreaser. Sometimes marketed as for washing the car when diluted, but it will definitely strip wax, clean a greasy engine, etc.
