S100 over SG?

Okay, right now I'm planning on doing this to my car:

Wash

Clay

#2

AIO

SG

S100

Is it okay to put S100 over SG or not, or should I just put it over the AIO? I've read some people having problems with it streaking or hazing after the SG. Plus if I put S100 over SG do I have to start all over again to put anything else on, like another coat of SG. Also if anyone has any product suggestings besides what I have listed for a Bright Red Camaro that would be great, thanks.

Yeah it would be fine putting any carnauba wax on top of SG and with the other steps you have there it will last a long time. I did everything you are going to do except #2 on my dads Chevrolet Malibu about 4 months ago and it still is beading very nicely. My dads malibu is a dark red and it has a lot of depth to it. However if your car is a cherry red or candy apple red I think that the s100 would give it more of a glow rather than depth.

After the SG, wait 24 hours (at least 12) for it to cure. At that point, you'll have a very nice finish, and any carnauba (S100 is a fine choice) will add warmth, and depth, in my opinion.

Me? I'd let the 1st coat of SG cure, add a 2nd coat, and then do the carnauba.

But, that's a 3 day process...

G'luck!

IMO I would wait a week between subsequent SG applications and a carnauba topper just to make sure everything cures. I waited 24 hours between my 1st and 2nd layer of SG and I got streaking the next day, waited a week between the 2nd and 3rd layer and no problems. I would do the same when you apply the S100. If your like alot of us and only detail on weekends it works out perfectly. Your car will still look great between the layers of SG so why rush it.

Compared to SG the S100 adds much more depth and clarity and looks more natural IMO. I do love the brightness of SG though.
