Because light colors reflect light instead of absorb it (such as dark colours)... Meaning, it's harder to capture details of a reflection in a light reflective surface unless the surface itself is REALLY bright like a mirror for instance.
 
Which is why in sunny weather, silver or white cars can be painful to look at because they reflect the sun right into your eyes from certain angles :shocked
 
Beautiful job! Incredible shots of the reflections. You said you used S100, UPP, VM, UPPC. What order do you use them? Did you clean before or after the Vanilla Moose?

That recipe was for the 00 Taurus

1. UPPC with PC

2. VM with PC

3. UPP

4. S100

By the way I used Meguiar's Swirl Free + S100 SEPC + S100 Carnauba.:)

Your results are awesome, JL9000. I'm now inspired to use S100 on my 1975 white car ... now, only I can find someplace to buy the product. :(

No kidding. When I lived in Arizona, my brother had a Dodge Challeger that he had painted white. He wakes me up at 9 AM (I worked graveyard as a Jack in the Box shift manager back then) after I'd only been asleep about 30 minutes to come outside and look as his freshly painted white car in the blinding Arizona sun. Ugh. I thought the huge white spot in front of my eyes would never go away!

I notice the static too but it seems to disappear after using some Z6. Though I do notice the dust but don't have another sealant/wax to compare to.
 
I used to use Liquid Glass....that was a major dust magnet for my Forest Green T-Bird. Z6 does cure the static electricity!
