its a 10 year old magna (diamate) i know i know boring car. but the paint which wasnt brilliant came up the best ive ever done.

Its a silvery blue. I used

- Meguairs Clay

- 3M Finesse it 2

- S100 SEC

- Mothers California Gold Wax

- S100 Wax

Whaddaya think?

I use it to to clean/slightly glaze after the 3M finesse it 2. Paint feels super smoth after i use it so i figure its worth while.

Forgot to mention i used 1 coat of car lack 68 after S100 SEC.

is the SEC a paint cleaner or what? And whats that Car Lack is that a Glaze?
SEC = Shine Enhancing Cleanser.

I have heard persistent but unconfirmed rumors that Car Lack 68 is very similar to Klasse AIO :nixweiss

Great looking finish:up

The car got progressively bluer in each of the first three prictures. Is the actual color more blue than silver or more silver than blue?

Carlack is supposed to be Klasse AIO.

The paint is a very light blue, which somtimes looks silver. The shot with the flash gives the true indication of its colour.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Car lack make Klasse AIO.
This is what I heard also. What puzzled me was that their website does not appear to have anything resembling Klasse SG. Does this mean that Klasse SG comes from another source? Are the Klasse twins (God forbid) not really twins at all? Is one of them adopted? I guess these questions are more relevant to us folk who have no easy access to Klasse products.

BTW, Myles, Michael H, good to see you guys still around :up

It would not be difficult to do SG. It is basically AIO without he cleners. If you visist the Car Lack site you will see a couple of versions of the same product, cars, boat, etc.

Car Lack and AIO are either identical or very very similar (maybe slight change in formula for different weather in the US). I have both and cannot tell the difference.

Footy, they really are twins, but they might have been switched at birth. So be careful which one you use first.

Hope this is helpful.

That looks real good for 10 year old paint.

Hey Footy - nice to see you posting again! :wavey
Thanks, arcticwhite. Good to see you still around, and that the Fog Chickens are still on patrol :D

Bt the way, I have heard of a certain 40th Anniversary Edition Ruby Red Corvette with 10 year old paint that also looks pretty good

Thanks Bruce. Your responses are always helpful. Sometimes puzzling, often causing the reader to roll on the floor making peculiar sounds, but unfailingly helpful
