S100 no longer P21s?

I've gotta believe that motorcycle paint/clearcoat is for all intents and purposes IDENTICAL to car paint. Regarding resistance to gas spills, I can't believe that my high-end car manufacturer is going to allow the paint to peel around the gas cap...therefore, the paint on my expensive car is most likely the same as that on an expensive motorcycle. With that said, I highly doubt that S100 is not the exact same product as P21S other than price. Whew, I'm glad that I got that off of my chest!

I can’t believe that S100 would strip clearcoat over time. That sales person must not know anything about Carnauba wax and they probably get a commission for selling pigsnot wax.AlBoston said:
First of all they (S100) advise in the little answer brochure that comes with the wax that it is OK for use on a clearcoat finish. They also advise that it is OK to use on your car or truck.

those two are exactly the same, and it all comes down to marketing. And everyones trying to save money by buying the s100. I won't like it if they change the formula bc ppl are buying the s100 instead of p21s. Haven't they realized that they ask too much for p21s in the first place? And two, why would they sell the same exact stuff with the same packaging but diff name? Personally, everyone wants to save money, and s100 is the answer until they actually change the formula!!!
S100 vs P21S product description (shortened):
S100: "......Made with a unique blend of pure Brazillian no 1 yellow carnauba and beeswax, it's simple to use and gives you bike a rock hard shine that lasts and lasts!"
P21S (from the Waxtest): "Contains no additives, dyes or perfumes, is easy to remove, leaving no chalky residue and has a dynamite shine that lasts and lasts."
S100 also mentions no residue and says what Colarbear quoted too. Suggested usage and no abrasives/cleaners content is a lot like P21S as well.
Someone in the know rumored that they weren't the same, but it's close enough for me!

Oh yeah, since some have alleged P21S cannot be layered, again from the same site:
"This wax can also be layered to increase the depth of shine. I have never found any evidence of yellowing or discoloration."

To save yourself some time you should email the P21S folks and ask if they have any dealers in WA. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for someone here to chime in.
Alternatively you can call stores that do a lot of aftermarket accessories like sheepskin seat covers, custom wheels, thing like that and ask what detailing products they sell. Places that cater to high end cars usually carry some kind of car care product.
hmmm interesting post, i will continue to use S100, i love the stuff:bow id buy sovern but its a tad $$ , plus S100 is easy to buy, go to harley dealer and walk out with a smile:xyxthumbs , iv'e had numerous comments on my shine, my Relflex Silver volks shines like no other. With silver or light coloured cars its difficult to achieve a decent shine, not any more, Just my 2 cents...
