s100 + hazing

i was polishing a friends black car on saturday , yellow pad 3m rubbing compund then dacp orange pad and finally meq 2.0 whit pad. the car was swirl free . i apllied s100 with the pad included well, when a went to remove the s100 with a m/f it had those holographic swirls in the paint , it was in the direction i applied the sw100.

at first i thought it was the applicator so i tried a diffrent one =same results

it was not the m/f cause its the same type one 1 removed the polish with

the s100 is about 2 years old but it looked / smelled just like new , the only ohter thing i can think of is that it the car was slightly warm . would this have caused it? any one else ever have this problem

yes. It must be the temp of the paint when you applied the wax. Also, i found that carnauba wax like s100 and souveran form some kind of haze when the paint sits under a hot summer heat when freshly applied.

Hmmmm.....thats a new one on me...Haze with a Carnauba? Holographics? You may have had better results via hand? The S100 isnt going to put holograms in the paint, it has to be your applicator and/or techinique.

the s100 was applied by hand...im thinking it was a heat thing b/c i was talking with another friend and last summer the same thing happend with his car,

also i dont think it was the applicator b/c i used two diffrent ones but they where the ones that come with s100

I had some hazing issues with S100, but only on the trunk lid of a Spyder when it was warm. (Mid engine car.) I'm pretty sure it's a heat issue. A bit of QD took all of the haze away with no problem.
