S100 and Zaino?

Has anyone tried using Zaino Z2/Z5 and then applied S100 (or P21s) wax over it? Just wondering what the results were. I like the S100 depth but thought maybe the Zaino would be a good base for it? Pros? Cons?:confused:

I'm seriously considering doing this. Zaino for the longevity, S100 for depth. If I do, I'll post the results on here:up
 
I've been thinking about this also.



DP-Jedi: You still working for the big W? I noticed your avatar. I've got a few friends in Colorado Springs still with them. The last time I ask.

I was laid off 8/28 along with thousands of others. The telecom market is in the sewer, well past the toilet:mad:

A wax on top of Zaino ?

I don't think anything has a depth of gloss like a Zaino finish.

You would have to remove the wax finish before using Zaino again. Right ? I'm not familiar with S100, what is it?

On dark colors Zaino creates a very glossy finish but depth is greatly lacking in comparison to a good carnuaba, Blackfire or Klasse topped with a carnuaba. I have 70 or so coats of Z2 and Z5 that I topped with Blackfire times 10 which now has carnuaba-like depth with the Zaino slickness, reflectivity and trueness of color. The reason I have so many layers of Zaino was my search for depth of color and wetness that I was unable to achieve to please my personal taste. After topping with Blackfire..BAM! Success.:bounce

Zaino seems to enhance the clearcoat but carnuabas and Blackfire enhance the base color coat. The base coat enhancement increases pigment wetness and depth. Both finishes are outstanding. Personal preferences and color of car/truck will decide which is best for you.:xyxthumbs :wavey
