S&W on motorcycle tires

Would using S&W on motorcycle tires leave residue on them that could potentially cause it to lose grip? It's a major pain to get out a brush and srub tires especially on heavy touring bikes with big fenders but I also don't want a dirty tire... any opinions on this? A quick cleanup of S&W would be good to clean off any road grime but I don't want to cause any danger in doing so. I would be careful to not get it on the tread of the tire just incase. I've used S&W on regular car tires... that's ok too right? Thanks for your help.

I use Spray and Wipe on tires all the time. When I don't want to drag out the hose and make a mess, it's quick and easy. I use an old cotton towel so that I don't ruin my microfibers. The tire will NOT become slick or cause you to lose any grip with the road, even on the tread.
 
thats good to know! only because one of my friends bought some and I told him I wasn't sure about using it on his motorcycle tires. Now I will tell him that he can.

I do like cleaning cars, but if he knew this, every time he came home he would look at his tires and tell me that they are dirty.

This is where I draw the line!!!! LOL
