S&W and Natty's

Hi All,

Quick question for you all. Do you think it would be OK to use S&W on a vehicle (instead of the usual wash routine) and then throw a coat of Natty's on?

The vehicle is not really dirty (just some dust etc). Or should I just do my regular wash routine and then coat it with Natty's?

Thanks in advance for all replys,

Jag

I think so. A week or two ago I used SSR2.5 and EX, then 24hrs later I put on a coat of Natty's. I drove the car for a day or two then used S&W and threw on another coat. Then 3 or 4 days later I did a regular wash, and another coat of Natty's. I know others have done S&W followed by Natty's as well.

If the surface is stll smooth anfter the Spray and Wipe, you should have no problems at all.:)

I agree. S+W can clean the paint well enough that you probably wouldn't even be able to tell whether it was washed or S+W'd. Plus, you won't have those annoying drips from the trim to deal with that you'd likely get after a wash!

I'm going with the premise that the paint is already in good shape, otherwise you'd get better results polishing before the Natty's.

Yeh, light dirt...Straight to S+W :)

I used to do the S+W / Natty's routine once a week until I stipped it all off.

I do it all the time on my black truck .....NO problem's !!

I've done S&W on my black truck when it has had ALOT of dust on it and have no problem's at all.

After I drive in a rain or get my truck sloppy dirty I go get a wash and then follow up with S&W , otherwise S&W is my primary washing source. I can't wash my vehicle's at home due to really hard water , so I go to the automatic touchless and then S&W followed by Natty's or EX all the time.

I thought with S&W that going to a carwash wasn't even necassary (sp?)?

It is if you have a very dirty vehicle or caked on mud. You don't want to use S&W to clean something like that.

GSRstilex - You use S&W on your red pride and joy? No fine scratches, swirls, minor marring, etc...?

I have a gallon of this stuff, but I'm gun shy. We have a black tahoe and if you look at it wrong a scratch will pop up.
