The process:

-Eagle One Car wash soap and wool mit to remove the dirt

-Meguiar's Quick Detailer the car to inspect the car for the bad areas/scratches/the stuff on the hood

-Meguiar's Clay bar the whole car with the quick detailer as the lubricant

-Then Evercoat Triple Cut Compound (P/N 100019, 1200 and finer fast cut to a fine finish) on the bad spots with 3M Waffle Pad (Black)

-Quick Detail the car to make sure all bad areas were addressed and fixed

-3M Fine Cut (P/N 06060) with 3M Waffle Pad (Black)

-Quick detail to inspect again

-3M Ultrafina (P/N 06068) with Blue Ultrafina specifi pad. (This stuff is GREAT and gies it amazing depth)

-Quick Detailer for final inspection

-The Meguiar's Cleaner Wax (I love this stuff and it really brings the slickness out in the paint) Removed with 3M Black Finish Pad.

-Then Finally Meguiar's Gold Class Paste Wax applied by hand and removed with 3M Black Finish Pad.

Then the windows get cleaned then Rain X'd, the trim all gets dress, and the interior gets cleaned. The wheels all get hand cleaned, waxed and buffed.
Does the Megs cleaner wax work better than an ISO or Prep Sol wipe down? Do you use MCW before polishing also?

I don't know I haven't used ISO or Prep Sol before.

And NO I don't use MCW before polishing. I only use it after polishing. I really restores the slickness and makes it bead amazingly!

Completely different purposes. The cleaner wax is formulated to remove slight contaminants/oxidation while leaving protection behind. The ISO/Prep-Sol step is used to remove any lubricants/contaminants (leaves absolutely no protection) left behind from polishing so that you can see the true status of the paint and allow your LSP to best adhere.

I like the MCW because it really brings back the silkyness and slickness of the paint. After I'm done buffing it with the Evercoat/3M Fine/3M Ultrafina it is REALLY smooth and deep but it's NOT slick! That is what I use the MCW for, and then finish it with the GC Wax.

I just recently (Last night around 11:30pm :o) bought some P21S 100% and can't wait to see what kind of results I get with it!:getdown
