RX-7 Detail this weekend

Awesome! That RX-7 is so clean. You did a really good job. It's basically sex on wheels and the photographs are amazing!

That is the one thing that I am bad about. I ONLY every do one car per day. I give myself ALL day so that I am not rushed. I tell every customer that. I NEVER rush and WON'T EVERbe rushed. I just like going very slow and being VERY detailed about it all.

But to answer your question I started at 7:30 AM and finished cleaning up around 5:30pm. And then it was ready for the wonderful pictures that you see here.

And not7fifteen thank you very much!

And to EVERYONE that loves the pictures... My photographer says thank you very much for all the kind words.

You know I have to say that I really like having the car to detail and it NOT leaving my hands UNTIL it's done with a photo shoot... I don't have to re-do anything... and it always get's captured at its utmost spectacular condition. Thanks again guys!!!

:bigups Great Job! I love the pics too! Did you get to drive it alittle? Any performance mods under the hood? Has it been repainted? Am I asking to many questions lol.

Yes I did get to drive it a little... about 1hr while we were going through the photo shoot.

The front bumper, side skirts, and rear lower corner panel flares were all painted to match the existing car color.

And no your not asking to many questions!!!

top 5 favorite cars of all time. love them !

btw, you did wax removal with a foam pad ?? jus curious, or did i read that wrong...

so gorgeous, and MUCH more so due to the lack of obtrusive mods :2thumbs: There is a similar black one near me that i see every few weeks, but it isnt as sweet as that one :D

Thats how those cars should look IMHO, they were never designed to look like a Skyline...

please teach me how to take pics like that. I have a canon dslr and can't get close to those types of photos. you use av mode? fmode/aperture setting????

I don't take my own pictures. I have all my cars done by a professional photographer. But if you would like I can see if he would get on here to give you some tips, or I could get you his contact info???

Well what I actually to is apply the Gold Class paste by hand. Let haze, and then remove the majority of it with a quality MF towel. Once the majority is removed I take the 3M Black Finishing Waffle Pad and @ 1200-1400 RPM I go over and remove the remaining wax and I leaves the wonderful deep shine that you see here. I go over a section no more than two swipes and a med/fast pace. I really like how it leaves the GC with a very wet looking appearance.

Awsome, would you mind if I used this pic ^^^^^ as a backround on myspace. Dont want to be labeled a picture thief lol.

Your welcome to use it as a background. It's only stealing if you claim it as your own work. And Thank you for asking and admiring that much!!!
