RV detailing

Got a job for an RV next week, quoted the guy 500 which he thought was more than reasonable(it's a 30 footer). The exterior has a lot of bugs, but I certainly can't play bar that, so I will be using Stoner's tarminator. After that I will be washing with gold class, then polishing with AIO, then finishing up with 4* UPP. Does this sound like a good routine? I think it also may be worth applying UPP by buffer with a finishing pad. I've always applied it by hand. What do you suggest?

If the gel coat is faded at all, you may need something more aggressive than AIO, in fact, you will probably need a gel coat specific polish. AIO+UPP should be fine if the RV is in good shape though.

Scott, what would you suggest for a gel-coat polish? What makes them different than automotive polishes? I have a good number of polishes in my arsenal if you can recommend something better than AIO to use in this situation.

I'd use something designed for boats. If I were doing it, Id apply Collinite's marine cleaner wax via rotary + polishing pad, and remove it with a PC + bonnet. If you want to stick to the cleaner/UPP route, go down to your local marine store and ask them what they reccomend (only time I ever did a gel coat was for my uncle, and I one-stepped it).
