Rust on tail pipe..How to get rid of it?

I live in Virginia and we have had lots of snow and rain this winter. I noticed that my tailpipe is getting very rusty. I have used Never-dull in the past to polish the tail pipe, but the other day I noticed rust onit.. the Never-dull worked good for the top but on the underside of the tail pipe I am having problems getting the rust off. Any suggestions with products or tools, etc?

Thanks

Is this on like a chrome tip? I've always had good luck with ScratchX or GS27. Those both remove rust off of chrome very well. It has restored many an exhaust tip for me in the past. :xyxthumbs

Hey, neat! It never occured to me to try products like that. I've neglected my tailpipes. :(

One other metal or wheel polish that I thought sounded interesting was Black Magic All Wheel Polish (or something like that). It says it can be used on ALL wheels including clear coated ones (yes, that's right!). I was tempted to buy this because it sounded so versatile. Might be worth trying someday.
