OK...I am looking at buying an Island car (live in Hawaii) that I only need to last 18 months. I have an eye on a 1991 GMC Jimmy.
The motor is sound as well as transmission. Only major problem
is rust holes in roof where the roof stripping was on to protect roof from when you put stuff on top of it. The screws have given way and there are quite a few holes in the roof. Here is my thoughts on fixing. I know out all the loose rust, I fill the wholes with the expandable foam, then bondo over the holes. Will this work or am I thinking to simple. Again, it doesn't need to be pretty. I am only paying $700 for the vehicle.
Thanks
Brian
