As far as I know, Kevin is the only reseller to include the washer with his machine. I've heard of others sneaking them in on the DL.

Same, I got to fiddle with it more to make it lock appropriately. Washer mod is awesome! Makes it run free.
 
I've also noticed that the trigger is a bit more difficult to lock the Rupes BigFoot LHE15ES and LHR21ES machines (compared to typical rotary machines). You've got to get used to FULLY pulling the trigger, then PUSHING the lock button WHILE you let off of the trigger. Here's a couple pictures to illustrate the point:

I hope this helps, and perhaps this is something that Marco at Rupes® can eventually address.

I reread the manual and noticed it there too..you've got to lock the trigger when you switch it on at the same time..need to get used to it as i prefer to switch on first and lock after...thanks for the pic KB helps to visualize and reassure that mine isn't defective or anything.

Thanks for the answers guys. I know where to buy mine in a few weeks. Just need to sell the flex first. I'm not a pro and this is just for my own car.
 
Can anyone here confirm that the LHR21ES's carbon fiber cover is not fitting tightly to the body? Thanks.
 
Mine fits fine. If yours has come lose, it may be easier to silicone it back on rather then ship it back

Thanks for checking yours. Did you try to wiggle left/right at the wider end?
