Awesome thanks for the pics!

I'm actually building my cart right now for the Rupes 21 and 5" BP, as well as other goodies of course ;P

Have you talked to Kevin at Buffdaddy one of our sponsors here--he includes the washer mode with the Bigfoot and has had the most experience with the Rupes.

Kevin's definitely the man behind the Bigfoot coming to the US and the commercial success its enjoying. Funny how AG still claims that the 5" plate is incompatible with the 21. Thank goodness Kevin cleared up that silliness for everyone.

As Kevin posted in this subforum, the washer-mod is pretty easy to make yourself. Just take the vinyl washer on any of your existing 5/16" stud DA backing plate and sand it down to the Rupes dimensions.

I don't see why AG says the 5inch backing plate isn't compatible. I've used it a bunch this week and have no problems with it.

Well Colombus had a hard time with folks in his day with the "World is not flat thing". If you don't know, you better ask somebody................. thank goodness the proper info is FINALLY accepted.

I've been using the 5" BP for a fair amount of time, the only thing is you better not get that BP on edge with that long throw! keep it flat and you'll be fine.

Cheers,

GREG
