Rupes 21 problems...

Finally upgraded to the 21, which arrived this afternoon. Was so excited to see how smooth it runs!


 


Fresh out of the box, it wont turn on. DOA.


 


So frustrating. Tried it on countless outlets with power.


 


Happen to anyone else, or am I the lucky one?
 
No doubt this will be fixed....

But I sympathize with you.


When I knew that mine was coming,

I felt like that Nintendo Christmas kid.


What a let down.


I bet the first plug made you think :

It's okay, we will just try a second


Then the second, third, and fourth should

be censored for decency.


All I can tell you, is that my roops is a

magic in my Palm.


It is the safest and smoothest buffer that I have worked with. I am in ladders, so this is a large concern.


I have nothing but good things to say about roops,

so I have all optimism of this being resolved.

Im not worried about them taking care of it. They have a good track record :)


 


With the weather in Maine finally turning to the warm side, and with spring-fever-ridden impatient customers, Im just frustrated with the situation.

And you were absolutely right, they just got back to me, on a Sunday afternoon no less. Great Customer Service indeed.


 


Especially when a faulty polisher, still sealed in the box, fails right off the bat. Thats not their fault at all.
 
Mine has been great except the speed control became faulty about two weeks into use, I still haven't gotten a chance to send it back to Rupes yet. Anyone have an idea of what the issue might be?


 


The speed is basically fully on (speed 6) or off, anything below speed 6 fluctuates randomly between the set speed and speed 6, sometimes never slowing down from 6.
