For you guys who have the 15, there is no speed difference from 5 to 6. The dial knob does feel vague how are your polishers is there no difference, this was my test run with my 15 or is there an issue ?

I'll check tomorrow to be 100%, but I think you should be able to hear a change going from 5 to 6. It might seem like a very small change, but it's more noticeable when a pad is on the paint.

Luckily you bought your Rupes LHR 15ES from Autopia, so if there is a defect with your tool we'll take care of it 100%. I'll pm you tomorrow.

On my Rupes 15, I also do not see any real difference above setting 5. This was after the washer mod which I removed and will try to see if that changes anything. I was told it was normal.

Don't know what the washer mod would have to do with speed change, my only complaint is the dial know being so vague why have a number 6 if it does nothing.

Because on a Rupes there's electronic motor control. It's a question of load vs no load. It's entirely possible that it has a max motor RPM that's hit on speed 5 so speed 6 doesn't seem like it changes versus speed 5/6 with a torque load.

Very possible just want to make sure it ok, just seems odd.
