I was curious how aggressive is this combo with Wool pad and 3M rubbing coumpound. What speed should i be using this with? And anything i should be aware of when doing this.
If you're using PI-II Fine Cut RC or PI-III RC (#05933), it's not THAT aggressive. *I* start at 3 (to prevent slinging) and speed it up to 5 or even 6. Yes, you CAN cut through your clear, but only if you're less than sensible. I've done a few passes with the wool, then switched to a cutting pad (same RC) and STILL had scratches/swirls remaining. Be careful and sensible, but it's NOT like it turns the PC into a rotary or anything. Just remember that it's better to have imperfect paint than insufficient paint
