Rub marks on seat from belt loop - GS460

Stick a toothpick in one of the holes and see if you can pull something out.

Afterwards, pick your teeth with it and see if you find a hint of Ho Ho juice or Latex Paint

IMO Lexol makes a great conditioner, but a terrible cleaner

I think of this thread everyday. Sure will be glad when we find closure. I think it's driving me crazier than you

:crazy2:

I'm definitely going to get a magnifying glass and bring the car out into the light of day this weekend. I'll update you all on what I find. Say it is paint or some sort of crap... Besides harsh cleaners, what would be the best way to get it off of there? Just don't wanna screw the leather up to get this stuff off :/

Get a damp cotton wash cloth (maybe with a touch of dawn). Get the area wet and try picking at it with your fingernail. If that doesn't work try spaying APC on the same damp cloth and go at it again

If you do get white stuff under your nail then that will tell you it can be removed

:idea

Steam would be another option if available

TRD.......I zoomed in on the bottom right picture (where the white glob is the thickest) in your picture and it does appear to me something is on top of the leather.

Get a magnifying glass and see if you can see yourself. Although I could be wrong.

Now that the lexol conditioner has had a chance to soften what it is, try giving it another scrub! That is unless you can clearly see the leather has really been worn .

:inspector:

Where the heck have you been?!?!? I miss seeing you around

:buddies

I'm going to try a little dawn and steam this weekend for sure. I'll keep you all posted! Thanks for all the suggestions!

Sorry for not getting around to this, everybody! I had a bunch of unexpected things come up last weekend, so I'm gonna do my best to fit it in THIS weekend :( Taking the car into the stealership on Saturday to get the B-pillar trim piece replaced that the tint shop managed to ding multiple times :wall Once I get it back from that, I'll do my best to hit the seats on Sunday! Thanks for your patience! :yourrock

Sorry for the super late response, everyone, but the Dawn and Lexol combo did the trick! Thanks to everybody here! You guys were a BIG help! Here's the result:
