Rotten milk aroma inside..

Brand new truck. Full kids cup of skim milk spilled, didn't know until about four hours later. Cloth seats.



Steamed cleaned the seats last night, aroma still there.



Any thoughts on getting this aroma out or how to fix? I'm dying here.. :(
 
Organic stains- these include proteins and fats, body oils, mould yeast, bacteria, bugs and carbohydrates. Organic soil is cleaned with an alkaline-based cleaner. Most of the stains found in the vehicle interior are of an organic nature and require an alkaline type cleaner. Organic stains - milk, blood, vomit (emesis) is highly acidic) and urine, they all should be removed with an enzyme type cleaner
 
What TOGWT said. You are going to probably need to remove the seats to thoroughly clean them. Unfortunately the milk has seeped deeper into the seats than the steam is going to go. Odo-Ban might be a good solution to you, either that or find a local DrivePur distributor.
 
Enzyme is probably the best option. Just be sure to fully saturate the area and keep it damp for at least 8 hours.
 
ValuGard Odor Terminator will do the job. The "odor" is a species of bacteria feeding on the proteins of the spilt milk. Just do normal clean up, with an oz or so of the product mixed in the all purpose, then mist the area with the Odor Terminator, making sure it is "damp" with the product. In 30 minutes the bacteria are gone, so the smell is gone.

The product is non-toxic, you can drink it without harm. However, what is does is make the proteins the bacteria feed on, unattractive to them, so they don't feed. Bacteria must feed constantly, if they don't, they die. That's how the product works. They die very quickly when they don't eat.
