I just got the new 3in gloss-it backing plate and pads to go with it. I really like these products, but i am not entirely used to polishing w/ such small pads. I know that i need to kick up the speed faster than normal to achieve a good cut, but i don't know exactly how much faster i should push it.
Depending on the product, i usually don't go over 1700rpm with a 6-7 inch pad.
Any advice on a good small pad polishing speed and technique to get good correction?
