I have a question about rotary buffer.



When you use this with polish like DACP or XMT4 or SSR3, how much clear coat is being taken off each time.



Just wanting to know how much can your cleat coat can take before cc failure.



Also same question but with cutting compounds.
 
The short answer is .... it depends on things like what polisher speed? what pad? how much pressure? how fast are you moving the polisher over the panel? what compound/polish? etc.



Common sense will tell you that different techniques will remove more or less clearcoat depending on the amount of correction.
