Intrstlarovrdrve and I took a day last week to practice using the rotary on his Grandma's car.....which was in perfect condition for this.....lol Check it out...

here is the hood before hand....it has been polished with a rotary....but since Intrstlar... doesn't have a PC it needed a little more work.

This is a pic of a side by side between the before/after. Of course the before is on the left and the after is on the right....just in case your blind.....lol

Here's the hood after going over it with the PC. Notice the clarity and how even the finish is.....

I would have liked to see it before you went over it with a PC...that way you could actually see what kinda progress you're making down the road.

Looks good either way.

I was using the Dewalt 849.....and Intrstlar....was using an older Black And Decker that was nearly the same.....except his would only go down to 1500....while mine would run as low as 1000....I also discovered.....like with the PC....on the rotary...it helps me to take the handle off....makes it easier for me to control.....we used 1z polishes only....usually using white pads and Ultra Polish or Paitn Polish.....following up with VM applied by PC.....then the car was waxed with a layer of SG....

Man, I gotta get a PC badly! I didnt realize how much they really did..hopefully for christmas, right? hehe. Those before pics didnt do the car justice, it looked much worse:p

thanks a bunch bretfraz...if it wasn't for you i wouldn't have a rotary at all....(bretfraz actually found one on sale for cheap and bought it for me)....and i bought it from him...
