hello all, im new to the site, as far as posting. i was having a hard time finding any attachmentst for either the PC 7424 or the makita 9227 that clean carpets. ive seen them mentioned a few times before, but i cannot seem to find them. i think they are called the carpet cleaning attachment?

thank you for the link, i looked on that site for over an hour and couldnt find it, exactly what i was looking for!

Thanks, Al, I didn't know there were velcro versions...but they're not any less expensive than the screw-on brushes...I guess they might change over faster if you weren't changing the BP anyway. But I more appreciate that link because of the tire dressing applicator at the bottom of the page...although I have a sneaking suspicion I have one of those (or something like it) that I bought a few years ago and threw in a bin....

I use a rotary on all the carpets and seats I do. I ordered a kit awhile ago that came with cloth pads that go on the buffer and when it runs over the shampoo you spray down the heat breaks down the dirt and cleans it up really nice. Can't remember for the life of me where I got them from though, but it is out there, and does work very well

I use them and love them. I used the soft one on my couch and pillows. Required some rinsing but worked great.
