Rock Chips In Bumper

So, this was my first brand new car and I really wanna take good care of it, but I have noticed lately small rock chips in my front bumper. What can I use or put on this to prevent it in the long run?

Dr Colorchip to fix the rock chips. Clear bra or (ppf)paint protection film to fend of future chipping.

And even the PPF only goes so far. When I had the Yukon done it got chips right through the stuff before my wife got it home from TN.

I`ve gotten to where I consider repainting the front bumpercovers to be almost a maintenance thing, have it done when I just can`t stand the chips any more.
