RoadSaver Sealant & Asphalt Remover

I have a big job ahead of me. My wife drives a Polar White Nissan Armada (further known as "The Bus"). I washed "The Bus" after a couple of months (I know, I know...) and to much horror, I noticed that the whole body is covered with little tiny specks of tar from the constant construction going on around us. The weather has been crappy for a while, and had not been able to wash it for some time. I need a good product to get this stuff off. I was just on ExcelDetail and saw this:

RoadSaver

I was just going to order it, but I was wondering if this would be suitable for what I need, or can someone suggest something else? I really don't want to use bug & tar remover on the entire "Bus". I know I will definitely use almost an entire clay bar on this thing after whatever I use... If I had a picture, I would post it, but I am too embarrased that I let it get this way in the first place.

The one time I really got caught in a real mess of road oil/tar, I used kerosene to remove it. I just washed the lower portion with a wash mitt saturated with kerosene. It took more than one pass in many areas, but it did remove the tar/oil.
Afterwards, I did two regular bucket washes to remove anything that was left. One might have done it, though.
Then it was time to polish and apply the LSP again.
The whole process was a lot of work, but I don't know of an easy way.

I would hit it this way. Make sure the surface is clean. Use some stoners tarminator or kerosene as charles has reccomended and use a towel to try to remove it. After you have removed a good majority of it, buy a clay kit, clay the vehicle especially in those spots with the tar, lastly do a full wash, polish, and reapply the lsp. Good luck.

I became aware of that product and was intrigued too. I'll monitor for user reports about it. If it can do the job easier/faster, it sounds like it it might be worth it.

Full strength bug squash will probably get that stuff pretty easily. I've never had any problems using it for stuff like this. Just spray on for a pre-wash, let it dwell, wash the car as normal. That should get it.

Anything kerosene based will work, but I'd hate to go 100% kerosene. I'm a big fan of Target by Malco, but it neutralizes any car soap (kerosene will). Tar melts away, so spray on, wash off after 5mins.
Chase it with a med-grit clay perhaps?
