Okay, so, I didn't get it all off. I made a reasonable improvement. I'm just a bit tired after being at school since 7am. I'll finish it up another day.
At the start I said, well, I bet I can use a stiff nylon brush to get it off the fenderwell. No. Well, some of it came off.
Then I tried a plastic butter knife. No, it was taking too long.
Then I decided that since my clay is now useless anyway, and it worked so well on the paint, why can't it work well on plastic. Yup, it worked the best. It really went quickly after I figured out that. It was all along the side skirts.
Oh, yeah, I ran out of protectant it seems. So I found some foaming tire...spray.....stuff. So that's what you see in the tire. It says NO TOUCH but I don't know. It also gave the tires a brown hue in direct sunlight. Nice! Just what I wanted.... Anyway, I need to get some more protectant. I really hate shiney tires, I really hate shine on anything other than paint or glass.
This took me about 2 hours. That's including the wash and everything. had I spent another half hour or so on each side I probably could have gotten rid of all of it. Oh well. Another day. It's in need of a full detail anyway--the shine is starting to go down considerably.
