Finish up, in the morning, now that the parts are here to complete the front brake job, on the Charger and then off for an hour or so drive to pick up the back glass/windshield for the T-Bird!
Found one, actually two, but the other guy had no idea of how he could make some bucks, so of to the west about a 100 miles to pick it up.
Local glass shop will remove the shattered glass and put in the new one for $60.
I removed and put in car glass years and years ago, but don't trust myself in this case, after all those years.
30 years ago that glass was $50 new, today, if you can find a new one and have it installed, $800 to $900.
Gonna get by with, including gas, etc for $375.
Not happy, but yet I am, reality is a tough thing these days.
Next move, dual exhaust, with glas packs, new pipe, new hangers, new glas packs, $300.00.
Old cars need love just like new ones, but they just get worth more each year, so spend the money.
