Road paint in the wheel wells... I need your opinions..

A little can of lighter fluid is one thing I'm missing from my travel detail kit. One more item to add to the list and it sounds like a lifesaver! It can be so hot right about now, you could probably track tar into the car just from walking in a parking lot!

Bill D- But wouldn't the naptha also remove the LSP? I'd be pretty hard-pressed to imagine anything I'd want to clean off during a trip if it meant taking that area down to bare paint

But then I virtually *NEVER* clean anything but the glass when I travel anyhow..I know, more of my Autopian Heresy :o

Well, I was thinking of an instance during the summer where the asphalt parking lot pavement can get so hot, one could literally track some it into the car on his shoes. Although I have clear mats to protect my carpet ones, I recall in the past having mystery black streaks once or twice, and I wouldn't want to track it on to the pedals, so I was thinking from reading this thread perhaps now I oughta pack a little naphtha with me.

As for the exterior, I've been guilty of spot claying while filling up at a station :o :D
