RMG + UPP = slick!

I've used a few yes, my last detail was using Poorboy's polish with carnuba, EX then P21S, and the RMG + 2x UPP is much better than that, much slicker and a wetter looking finish too. It isn't as warm as the P21S but it is wetter which counts more for me.

Looks great Rob you really have made me want to try this combo. Have sourced some UPP now ( Cheers Craig - Pugoman) so I plan to do RMG, YCW and then the UPP, and decided if to top.
 
I thought about doing YCW too, but didn't know if it would affect the UPP bonding to the paint, so I left it out.
 
I finally got to try out my bottle of RMG and I loved it. Prep with SSR1 for light marring from washing, RMG with a Meg. Finishing Pad and topped with Nattys. RMG really did darken the paint and its really easy to spread, but I did but it on to thick to begin with so it smeared some. I was thinking it was as thin as VM but wasnt so I put to much on the pad to begin with. Well lesson learned.
 
Glad I have been watching this thread! I had been doing RMG and YCW before EX or WG. Will just stick to the RMG before the UPP.
 
Well it rained for the first time since putting on the 2 coats of UPP - wow! Pretty much every drop of water simply beaded up and rolled straight off the car - the slickness of UPP is amazing, I love it! I have some 4*UGE spray on the way from PakShak to maintain the UPP.
 
Since achieving such good results and certain people seeing my detailing supplies - now my Dad and sister want theirs cars fully detailed, and my friend too - what have I done!!! :D
 
I thought I'd try topping UPP with a few different things - so on 3 panels I did CMW, Souveran liquid and lastly WG deep gloss sealant. CMW looks pretty good, nice wet finish, Pinnacle seemed so-so, but then on the last panel the WG sealant - WOW! I am liking this alot, go on/off very easy and seems to have added wetness and clarity to the finish, I'm going to do the whole car with it!!!

I had been using RMG and then Wolfgang, I was going to use my UPP in place of the WG.



Had you tried just RMG then WG before?

Not tried RMG then WG no. Obviously I do not have a trained eye, but to me the WG on top of UPP really seemed to add something - to my eyes the clarity and reflections increased.
 
Well it sure looks good in the pictures. I may do UPP x1 and then the WG now.



Does the WG take away any off the UPP slickness?
