RMG & Pinacle Souvern

Let me start off by saying this is a terrific forum. The only problem is it seems like the more I surf over here, the more my head spins with all the different products and combo's. So here goes and excuse me if this has been beaten to death allready. I will be finishing off my paint with RMG and toping it off with Pinacle. NOW, this is for a car show, not durability, should I just leave well enough alone or top of the Pinacle with anything else. I think I may be getting to anal here. I saw a post here of someone putting Meg's #7 on top of the Pinacle. Any benefits to this? As always, thanks for reading my post and I do look forward to all you input/suggestions. THANKS guys.

RMG topped with Souveran is about as deep and wet as you are going to get. I wouldn't bother putting anything over Souveran.

On black I have not seen anything that I like better but on other colors I have found other combonations that I think look better. If you are doing inside car shows then you might want to look at #7 as a LSP but remember it really dosn't protect you paint, I will not use a glaze only if I'm doing a outside show. Birds know when you are using just glazes!!!

Just bring some Pinnacle Crystal Mist with you to brighten up the appearance during the show and you will be all set with the final LSP being Souveran. :D

Meg#7 can be a PITA applying and buffing off clear. IHG is a little easier to use if you desire to top with a glaze IMHO.

blkZ28Conv is right, get some crystal mist for your RMG/PS and your are set. I would let souveran be, and not top it. You will have the 'wettest' (is that a word?) paint.

Is a great combo.

I get better results doubling up on the glazes first though -

Clearkote VM by PC on a polishing pad, followed by the RMG with a finishing pad makes a visable difference before applying the Souveran.

Rmg & PS are great!!! Two pick me ups before a show is Meg's 81. Apply using a small amount. Or you can use the Crystal Mist also.

Or if you want something a little better take Meg #5 mix Meg #81 in a small bottle and apply lightly. Works wonders.

That sounds like an amazing idea! But I'm gonna have to wait til the spring to come around to try it, I don't think it would last long in a Canadian winter.

Can't thank you guys enough for your input. I used the RMG and Pinnacle early this year based on the input I received on this forum. I was really tickled to death. I was using P21S and was happy then. You guys never cease to amaze me with the combinations you come up with. Your all like made scientists with these concoctions. Crazy part is they work!!!!!!!!!!! I was giving some consideration to the suggestion of Pinn. Crystal Mist, BUT, it' getting hard to justify MORE detailing products. Bottom line, I think I will stay with the RMG w/Pinnacle. I have been using Adams detail spray for getting rid of the dust. It seems to work pretty good and I like the way it SMELLS. That is one of my requirements.

Thanks again, I'll be back for more guidance. As we say in Chicago, uze guys are the best!!!!!!!!!!!
