RMG + PB EX - What Order?

Like the title says......I have both products and I'm wondering in what order I should use them? I know that sealants don't bond all that well to certain glazes but I'm thinking that, since EX contains carnauba, that might change things.

For those of you with experience with these 2 products, I'd be very glad to benefit from your experience (before I do things the wrong way around! :) ). Thanks.

RMG is a glaze and hence, is mildly abrasive. It will remove the EX-P if you attempt to layer it on top.

what?

a true glaze has no abrasives

RMG has very little adrasives

it is fine under and/or over EXP

I'd do it RMG then EX. Glazes have charecteristics that add depth, wettness, and gloss. If you put it over Ex you may compromise the carnauba. You could put a "pure polish" Meg #7 or #81 over the EX with no problems.

I don't really find RMG to be abrasive but it does have some very light chemical cleaning properties. If you don't top RMG with something then, like wannafbody said, you'll have very little durability (or protection) from it.

The Poorboy's EX and EX-P seem to play pretty well when used over a glaze like VM or RMG. You still don't have the durability from them like some of the other sealants but they look good and are very easy to use. My favorite topper for RMG is CMW from ClearKote.

I am confused by you statement

is't #7 a glaze even know it is called a "pure polish"?

(I know RMG has some cleaners/abrasives but not much)

Ditto your comment. In "Megspeak", "Pure Polish"=Glaze ;)
