Rinseless washing...

I love ONR as well. When I show up to do a customers car with only 2 gallons of water they are at first hesitant about me not hosing their car down before or after washing. But I assure them that I wash my car with it weekly. The best part I like about it is that when the car is dirty and it rains, all the dirt runs off the car and it still looks pretty clean. Especially compared to other wash products.

There are certain situations where ONR just can't do the job, like all the cracks and crevices and everywhere else dust and dirt hide, and you just can't get even a MF towel in there, it helps to be able to rinse out, but the advantages far outweigh any of that IMO. One area where it's just easier to rinse for me are wheels, spray them down, brush them, and rinse.

I would no doubt prefer a traditional wash for a thorough wash, but in water restriction areas, corporate office buildings, etc, ONR is the go to! Or if speed and volume is the factor vs higher quality washing...ONR

For very dirty wheels I use SONAX and just have a 32oz spray bottle filled with water. (I also always bring 5 gallons of water with me). I even use ONR when I have a water supply where I'm working. The benefit alone of not working in a completely soaked area is good enough for me.

The only time I do the traditional method of spraying the car with a hose before washing is when it's very dirty.

I'm never in a water restricted area or somewhere where there's no water outlet, and the last time I traditionally washed a car was two years ago, or more. Unless you're rinsing off extreme dust or something, or pressure washing away extreme dirt, I don't see the need. I just ONR it in the shade/garage etc. and it's always fine.

I could just never see how one could really want to go rinseless. I respect the guys that do, but If I didn't have a pressure washer or air line I'd never detail again. Just my thoughts.

I just recently picked up a bottle of ONR as a back up incase my pressure washer fails while on the job(knock on wood). I have used rinseless products in the past and had great results with it. its quick and easy to use, but I stick to traditional washing due to the fact that 90% of the cars/trucks I detail are very dirty or have heavy dust.

Actually, rinseless technology has come a long way. The new ONR will run circles around most people's regular washing methods.

If I had to go back to traditional washing, I'd stop detailing. Saves me a ton of time and does a better job.

I use both, but traditional wash is my go to for most jobs. If the vehicle is keep up, rinseless is easy, but because vehicles get dirty up here, pressure washer is my first pick.

I've been ONRing it up lately. Saves me a lot of time and water. Not that water is the issue, I just don't see a reason to waste water if i don't have to.

That being said though, Instead of the two bucket method, I tend to ONR and rinse with a hose :P

I no longer have access to ONR in my Country and my stock is about to finish. Are there any other brands I can pick up?

Does Duragloss have anything rinseless?

I only use ONR and I think it gets a bad rap from improper use. I'm meeting with a client on Monday to discuss a full detail and maintenance washes. She said her last detailer used something without water and she said it left the finish looking worse. I immediately reassured her that it is a good method, but only when used properly. I've never had marring issues, but I did just pick this up for wheel cleaning:

Let us know how that Nomad machine works out. If possible, please post a video of you using it.

I am with a lot of people here and use rinseless washes as much as possible. But that being said I do get a lot of cars that have not been maintained so I will go with traditional wash methods to decontaminate.

Sometimes I'll use traditional methods for wheels then ONR the car.
