Rinse after every swipe

Does anyone else here rinse their mitts off with a good shot of water after every section they wash? I seem to waste a lot of wash solution this way and was wondering if I should even do this extra step.

One popular thing to do instead is to use two buckets.. the first bucket has your soapy solution, and the second bucket has plain water (or it can be soapy solution if you want). Dip mitt in first bucket, wash a panel, and then wash out the dirty mitt in the 2nd bucket before going back to the first bucket for more soap to put on the car. Repeat.

I think most of the people here wash in that manner. Hosing off the mitt after sections seems a bit tedious.

The two bucket method for washing is a good idea and you would surely not waste as much wash solution.

Another suggestion, if you are not already doing it, is to use two different mitts during the wash process. One mitt for washing the upper more cleaner areas and another for the lower panels and wheels which are usually more dirty. It's always a good idea to wash the dirty areas last.

Thanks for a good post!
