Rim damage

Is there any way to minimize the visual impact of this? I would prefer not to paint it, but its looking like my only option.

Silver touch up paint. If not satisfactory, there are people who repair that type of damage and make the wheel perfect again.

I did some damage to my rim over the weekend as well- here's my plan (has been done before):

-Clean area intensively

-Rough up surrounding edges with rough grit sanding pad

-Fill gouges with JB Wel; -file/sand to perfection

-Prime

-paint

-clearcoat



Voila!

Yes, that rim can be repaired within 2 days. Where do you live, I can get you a number so you can have the wheel repaired.
