Reviving a NEW paint job *56K nay*

Absolutely incredible job, what were those painters thinking about!

One of the best transformations I have seen here. :xyxthumbs

That picture of the gas tank cover and the 1/4 panel is terrible. Not because of your work but because they obviously wetsanded the whole car except that part. You can see a terrible amount of OP on that gas tank cover.

Good work on fixing up the paint, flakes look nice.

ebpcivicsi,

My black camry (98') has about the same amount of swirling and I wannna remove the marring like you did on this civic. Do you think I can achieve this still using #84 via PC instead of rotary??? I have #84, #83, and #80.

How lond did the polishing process take?

How many passes with each polish?

Inspirational turn over! :)

please advise. Thanx .

Sorry for the slow reply, I did not see this.

You cannot use the #84 with the PC and get good results. #84 needs the heat of the rotary in order to break down properly. So I guess with the PC, the answer is no. I would try multiple passes with DACP and the PC and then continue with your regimen.

The detail took 6 hours, but I talked a lot as she stayed and hung out. ;)

Yeah looks like I can see one of the rings of the Audi badge on the grill so my guess is it's an A4. Does it really matter what type of car is in the picture?
