Review: Maintaining PBL coatings with PBL Shampoo and PBL Detailer
Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Coating Maintenance Kit
It’s been awhile since I posted any reviews or updates, and I am sorry about that. Due to some health issue and finishing grad school I got pretty busy.
First big thanks to the Stig & PBMG for letting me try this product:dblthumb2:
Last November I coated my wife's car with PBL Diamond Surface coating, and I am glad I did. Since then I have not had time to wash the poor car till this weekend. It was only driven through a touch-less tunnel about a month ago.

Some random before shots. The car was filthy with pollen, sap, and bird crap.

The Trio

After washing off the excess pollen and crud; I cleaned the tires, wheels, and barrels with Garry Dean APC and Daytona brush.
Next I got the bucket out and 2 squirts of the PBL Shampoo. The shampoo was great there was plenty of suds and scentless (well to me at least). Car was so dirty I ended up washing it twice:autowash:.

After the car was dried I touched it up with PBL Detailer. Here a little goes a long way, I did a squirt per panel and 2 squirts on hood. And was too tired to touch the roof
… After the detailer I got back the newly coated shiny pop on the paint; it looked beautiful :coolgleam:
The surface wasn’t smooth to the touch like many detailers, but it felt more like Gtechniq Silo Seal (which is a great thing).
The detailer is expensive and I it’s going to be hard to justify with so many other great detailers from PBMG, but if you are already using the other PBL products why not.
Some finished pics before it started raining.

And some beading.

At this time I only used the booster on the glass and not the paint, since the coating was only applied 5 months ago. If I do see the coating deteriorating then I will go to it. What I am expecting is the detailer to deter dusting like the coating. I will follow up in a couple of days to see how it is doing.
Enjoy and please ask questions.
