I first say that I'm a huge Meguiar's fan, and I stock ALOT of their products, and we religiously use their products at my work.
Now, onto the review....
This is the worst piece of garbage I have ever put on my car. Honestly, I could probably use quick detailer + MF and take off more crap than this clay could (exaggeration, but you get the point). First time I used it on my hood, I did a pretty good job (in my opinion), thought it went pretty smoothly, until I felt the hood. WTF there's still a buncha crap on this hood, maybe this is just some really industrial strength stuff. So I go for a SECOND pass, nope, still there. So I take out my old Clay Magic bar, use that, and viola, smooth as glass. So now I'm thinking, well this IS the mild clay bar....maybe I can use it for something more mild, like dried on wax...
Fast forward to yesterday, I washed my car and was claying off some wax residue that I forgot about. And it requires ALOT of effort to get even that off, and it still doesn't do a very good job of that.
The clay itself is REALLY REALLY REALLY soft. After using it for a while, it'll seep into the cracks between your fingers, and then it'll stick there (I wear gloves when I clay) so you have to pry it off. It's so soft that it's hard to keep it in a manner that makes it easy to clay.
Overall I think this product is worthless, and I'm kinda (very) pissed off I spent 22 bucks on such a worthless product. I would try the agressive clay, but why bother, back to Clay Magic I go.
Notes-
Lubricant - Meguiar's Final Inspect
Towels - Meguiar's MF Towel
