I just ordered some of this stuff. I'm glad to hear such a good review of it! I'll be very excited to try it out on my truck. #21 is suppose to do wonders on darker colored vehicles too, so since I have the Atlantic Pearl Blue coat I'm really interested to see what it will do!

Absolutely love this stuff, really great product. I can't attest to durability at this point, but the bottle does say it now "lasts even longer."

Smells nice, great consistency for DA application, and wipes off with no effort. I recently did a quick sprucing up of a Cessna 172, and topping the aircraft grade sealant with #21 really made it pop.

Would recommend #21 to anyone doing commercial work, it's extremely fast to apply and remove, and very forgiving. It doesn't dry white, stays wet. I let it sit on the cowl of that airplane for nearly 24 hours to see if it would discolour or anything, and it didn't. Wiped off as easily after a day as it would have after 5 minutes.

Great job Megs, Poorboy's EX-P was my go to staple, and PB's still smells better, but i'm switching to #21 for my customer's vehicles, much more economical and easy to use.

They have this in the 2.0 now as well.

Isnt this basically the same as Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0.

I ordered this as well for my business cant wait to give it a try.

The relationship between M21 and NXT is an interesting question. The formulas are not identical. M21 may be applied by rotary; NXT should not be. More than a few M21 lovers contend that they can see a difference between the two sealants, both in looks and durability; others say they cannot.

NXT does appear to generate more than a few complaints about streaking. One rarely reads such complaints about M21. Maybe this is just because M21 users are fewer than NXT users or because M21 users are more experienced in properly applying waxes and sealants. I don't know. Interesting question.

It's good stuff, we love it but it costs a bomb in NZ, any thoughts on topping it with a wax? I do it periodically on top vehicles in the hope that a combo of synthetics + natural sealants will give something extra but I'm not certain that it's not just fluffing around a bit to look special.

I was going to try to top it with megs #26 yellow hi tech carnauba wax and see what results I get

M21 ans Tech wax 2.0 are really the same product for the most part. M21 is tweaked just a bit so it can be applied with a machine but that's it. There's nothing added to it that would make it last longer than 2.0. Here's some quotes from Meguiars themselves...

"It's basically the same product, the formula for M21 has been tweaked so that it can be applied using a rotary buffer which means it's been tweaked so that it can be subjected to higher temperatures and still perform well as a rotary buffer generates heat fairly quickly."

"NXT Tech Wax and M21 Synthetic Sealant are both paint sealants as both are made from all synthetic or man-made ingredients. NXT Tech Wax uses the word "wax" on the front label and is marketed and sold through normal consumer channels where the primary intended user is an enthusiast do-it-yourselfer. M21 uses the word sealant on the front label and is marketed and sold through professional channels where the primary intended user is is a professional."

I too have read people saying that M21 is waaay better than 2.0 and this shows yet again in the detailing world that our eyes will see what we want them to see. Hope this cleared things up a bit.

^^^^Thank You.. Thats pretty much the reason I decided to purchase this because it will save me $$$ in the long run and maybe it will perform better too
